Pitch Parler

Terms of Service

Last updated September 22, 2026

The short version. Pitch Parler helps you research podcasts and write pitch emails. You send the emails yourself and you are responsible for them. Your first 3 pitches are free. Your card is charged 24 hours after you use the 3rd pitch, or on day 30 if you have not used them all, whichever comes first. You can cancel anytime. We do not give refunds. There is no guarantee that any show will accept you, reply, or book you, and no guarantee of any result from your pitches. Show rankings and audience numbers are estimates from public information and may not be accurate. If you have the founding member price and cancel, you lose it permanently. The full terms below are what apply.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

Pitch Parler, at pitchparler.com (the "Service"), is operated by Platinum Self ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and us. By creating an account, checking the box to agree, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. If you use the Service for a business, you agree to these Terms for that business too.

2. What the Service does

The Service researches your public work to build an expert profile, searches for podcasts, researches individual shows, looks for publicly listed booking contacts, and drafts pitch emails and follow ups. It includes a tracker for the pitches you send.

You send every email yourself. The Service does not send email to podcast hosts on your behalf.

3. Your account

Keep your password private and your account details accurate. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Each account is for one person. Do not share your login. The Service learns your voice from the changes you save and the pitches that book you, and sharing an account mixes voices and weakens results. Tell us right away through the Contact us form if you think someone else has accessed your account.

4. Free trial, billing and cancellation

5. Plan limits

The Pro plan, and the founding member price, include up to 250 pitches and up to 500 email revisions per month. The Starter plan includes up to 50 pitches and up to 100 email revisions per month. Both plans include the same show research, contact lookup and pitch tracker, with limits on the supporting research scaled to each plan’s pitch allowance. A pitch is the full email sequence for one show, and it is counted when the Service writes those emails, not when you send them. Searching for shows, show research reports, contact lookups and the tracker are not counted as pitches. A revision is a request to rewrite one of those emails. Unused pitches and revisions do not carry over. Show research reports are included with your plan and are not counted as pitches. To stop the Service being used as a research tool on its own, there is a limit on how many shows you can research in a month without writing a pitch for them: 60 on the Pro plan and the founding member price, 15 on Starter, and 5 during the free trial. Researching a show and then pitching it does not count against that limit, so a member who pitches the shows they research will not reach it. We may also apply reasonable limits to protect the Service from abuse or automated use, including on optional extras such as rebuilding your profile. These limits never reduce the pitches and revisions your plan includes.

6. Your responsibilities when you pitch

7. Contact information we find

When the Service looks for a show's booking contact, it only uses information the show has published, such as its podcast feed, its website, or public podcast directories. It never makes up an email address. When it checks an email, it only checks that the email's domain can receive mail. It cannot confirm that a specific inbox exists, is monitored, or belongs to the person who books guests. We do not guarantee that any contact, guest form, or social account is current, correct, or wants to receive pitches. Use them responsibly and follow each show's stated booking process.

8. No guarantee of acceptance or results

THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL BE ACCEPTED ONTO, BOOKED BY, OR RECEIVE A REPLY FROM ANY PODCAST OR SHOW. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE OF ANY OUTCOME FROM YOUR PITCHES.

Whether a show replies to you, books you, records or publishes an episode with you, or promotes it, is decided entirely by that show. We do not control those decisions and we have no relationship with the shows you pitch. We also do not guarantee any audience size, downloads, exposure, new clients, sales, revenue, or other business or personal result from using the Service or from any episode. You will not receive a refund because a show declines, ignores, cancels, or does not publish, or because you did not get the results you wanted.

9. Show rankings, ratings and audience figures are estimates

The Service may describe or filter shows by ranking tiers or percentages (for example "top 1%" or "top 5%"), and by ratings, reviews, downloads, listener numbers, episode counts, how recently a show published, or whether it interviews guests. These figures are estimates. They are based on information available online from third party podcast directories, rating and review platforms, and public sources, and they are not measured or verified by us. Podcasts rarely publish their true download or audience numbers. The figures may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong, and may not be 100% accurate. Do not rely on them as a statement of a show's actual audience or reach.

10. Artificial intelligence and research

The Service uses artificial intelligence to research and write. This includes your expert profile, pitch angles, show research reports, "what the show has covered and what is missing" findings, proposed episode ideas, subject lines and emails. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, can misread a website or episode, and can describe something as missing from a show when it was covered. Review everything before relying on it or sending it. AI output is not legal, medical, financial, or professional advice.

When you give us a website, social media, podcast or publication links, you authorize us to access and read those pages, and public search results about you, to build your profile. Only give us links for yourself, or for a person or business you are authorized to represent.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

12. Your content

You own the information you give us and the profiles, pitches and emails created for you ("Your Content"). You give us permission to store, process and use Your Content to provide and improve the Service for you, including sending it to the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell Your Content. You are responsible for having the right to use anything you add, including links, text and images.

Aggregated data. We may combine information about how the Service is used, such as how many pitches are sent and how many are booked, declined, or get no reply, in a form that does not identify you or the people you pitch for. We use it to run, measure, and improve the Service. That aggregated data is Service Data and belongs to us.

13. Our property

The Service, including its software, design, text, and branding, belongs to us and our licensors. These Terms do not give you any right to it beyond using the Service as allowed here.

Service Data. Separate from Your Content, we collect, compile, and create information to run the Service. This includes podcast and show research, the data behind show reports, rankings and audience tiers, episode analysis, sourced statistics, contact lookups, search results, our prompts and methods for building profiles, angles, and matches, and aggregated data ("Service Data"). Service Data belongs to us and our licensors, and some of it comes from third parties under licenses that do not allow it to be passed on.

What you may do with it. We give you a limited, personal, non exclusive, non transferable permission, which we may withdraw, to use Service Data inside the Service while your account is in good standing, and to use what appears in your reports and emails for your own pitching and for the people you are authorized to pitch for. You may not extract, compile, publish, sell, license, or share Service Data outside that use. Copying your own pitches and exporting your own tracker is allowed.

Confidential information. Parts of the Service that are not public, such as features in testing, prompts, and how the Service works behind the scenes, are our confidential information. Do not share them.

Feedback. If you send us ideas, suggestions, or feature requests, we may use them freely, without any obligation or payment to you.

Enforcement. We monitor use of the Service to detect scraping, automated access, account sharing, and other misuse. If you break this section or section 11, we may immediately suspend or close your account without a refund, block your access, and take legal action. Misuse of Service Data can cause harm that money alone cannot repair, so in addition to any other remedy we may ask a court to order the misuse to stop. To the extent the law allows, you agree to pay the reasonable legal fees and costs we incur to enforce this section.

14. Third party services and data

The Service relies on third parties, including podcast directories such as Listen Notes, Podchaser, Apple Podcasts, Spotify and YouTube, payment processing, hosting, email delivery, and artificial intelligence providers. We are not responsible for third party websites, services, or data, and their own terms may apply. Features that depend on a third party may change or stop working if that third party changes or ends its service.

15. Tracker, reminders and your data

The pitch tracker, due dates, follow up schedules and "pitch completed" markers are tools to help you stay organized. They do not send emails or notifications for you, and you are responsible for your own follow ups. Marking a show as pitch completed hides it from your future searches. We keep your data with reasonable care, but we do not guarantee it can never be lost, so keep copies of anything important. You can export your tracker at any time.

16. Changes to the Service

We may add, change, or remove features, data sources, and limits over time, including during early access. We will not reduce what your paid plan includes during a billing period you have already paid for.

17. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, or do not pay. You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination will continue, including sections 6 through 15 and 18 through 22.

18. Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT PROMISE THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR FREE.

19. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

20. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from the emails you send, Your Content, or your breach of these Terms.

21. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction.

22. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the Service before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after the change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

23. General

If any part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a part of these Terms is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.

24. Affiliate program terms

If you are a Pitch Parler affiliate, these are your terms. They apply in addition to the rest of these Terms when you apply to or take part in the Pitch Parler affiliate program. If you are a customer who only entered a referral ID when signing up, this section does not apply to you. In this section, "you" means the affiliate and a "referred customer" is a customer credited to you.

  1. Joining. You must apply and accept these affiliate terms. We review every application and may approve or decline it for any reason. You earn nothing until we approve you and your referral ID is active. There is no commission for customers who created their account before your referral ID was active, and commissions are never added after the fact.
  2. Your referral ID and link. When approved, you get a referral ID and a referral link (pitchparler.com/?ref=your ID). Capital letters in a referral ID do not matter. Your referral ID is not a promo code and does not give customers a discount.
  3. How a customer is credited to you. A customer is credited to you only if your referral ID is in the Referral ID box when they create their Pitch Parler account.
    • When someone opens your referral link, your referral ID is remembered in that browser for up to one year and filled in for them when they sign up. It is not remembered if they sign up on a different device or browser, use private browsing, or clear their browser data. In those cases they need to type your referral ID themselves.
    • The customer can change or remove the referral ID before signing up. Whichever valid referral ID is in the box when the account is created gets the credit.
    • Each account can be credited to only one affiliate, and the credit cannot be changed or added after the account is created.
    • We are not responsible for referrals that cannot be tracked, including when a customer does not enter your referral ID.
  4. Commission. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, you earn 20% of each subscription payment a referred customer actually pays us, after discounts and not including taxes, for 12 months starting from that customer's first paid payment. Payments after those 12 months earn no commission.
    • Free trials, free or 100% off promo codes, and $0 invoices earn no commission.
    • If a referred customer cancels or stops paying, commissions stop. If they pay again within their 12 month window, those payments earn commission. Payments after the window do not.
    • No commission is earned on your own account, on accounts of people in your household or your business, or on accounts created mainly to earn commission.
  5. Refunds, disputes and chargebacks. No commission is owed on a payment that is refunded, disputed, charged back, or found to be fraudulent. If we already paid you commission on that payment, we may deduct it from your future commissions.
  6. When and how you are paid. Commissions are paid on the 1st of each month (or the next business day) for referred customer payments made during the previous calendar month, Mountain Time. Commissions are paid only by PayPal, to the PayPal email address you give us. You need a PayPal account that can receive payments, and you are responsible for any fees PayPal charges you. You must keep your PayPal email accurate. If a payment cannot be made because your PayPal email is missing or wrong, or your account cannot receive it, we hold it until you give us a PayPal email that works. There is no minimum payout amount.
  7. Taxes. You are responsible for all taxes on your commissions. We may ask for tax information, such as a Form W-9 from affiliates in the United States or an equivalent form from affiliates outside it, and may hold payments until we receive it. We may issue tax forms, such as a Form 1099, where the law requires.
  8. How you may promote Pitch Parler.
    • Always disclose that you earn a commission when you recommend Pitch Parler, clearly and close to the recommendation, as required by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and similar laws.
    • Be honest. Never promise or suggest that anyone will be accepted by, booked on, or get results from any show, and never present show rankings, ratings, or audience figures as exact. Sections 8 and 9 apply to what you say.
    • Do not send spam or unsolicited bulk email, texts, or messages, and follow anti-spam and privacy laws.
    • Do not bid on "Pitch Parler" or similar names or misspellings in search or social advertising, do not register domain names or social accounts that use the Pitch Parler name, and do not pretend to be Pitch Parler or to speak for us.
    • Do not post Pitch Parler promo codes or offer customers cash, rebates, or other incentives to use your referral ID, unless we agree in writing.
    • You may use the Pitch Parler name to describe the Service truthfully. Do not alter it or use it in a way that suggests we endorse you.
  9. Customer privacy. We do not share referred customers' personal details or account information with you.
  10. Your relationship with us. You are an independent contractor. You are not our employee, partner, or agent, and you cannot make promises or commitments for us. You pay your own costs of promoting.
  11. Changes and ending. We may change the commission rate, the commission period, or these affiliate terms by emailing you before the change takes effect. Changes apply to referred customer payments made after the change takes effect and do not reduce commission you already earned. You or we may end your participation at any time. When it ends, your referral ID stops working and earns nothing on later payments, and we pay commission already earned on payments made before it ended. If it ends because you broke these Terms or acted fraudulently, unpaid commission is forfeited.
  12. The rest of these Terms apply. Sections 18 through 23, including the disclaimer, limitation of liability, and Colorado governing law, apply to the affiliate program. Our total liability to you relating to the affiliate program is limited to the unpaid commission you have earned.

25. Contact

Questions about these Terms, or anything else: use the Contact us form, also found in the app and at the bottom of our home page. We reply to the email address you give us.
